Hotel Madrisol, opened in 2005, is well-situated at the heart of the old town, in a protected historic building that used to house the Hotel Aragón, favored by bullfighters performing at the nearby Plaza de las Ventas ring. Today, the Barrio de las Letras neighborhood is renowned for its tapas bars and for going out late into the night, in true Madrilenian style. Each room features a full bath, television, and free Internet access. Prices usually start at around 55 euros, and can drop even lower during off-season special offers.
