Hotel Preciados is a four-star hotel in the centre of town, a short distance from the royal palace, the opera, and the Plaza de España. The nineteenth century building has been completely restored, so modern rooms are amid period architecture. Individually designed and well-appointed, they feature original artwork and cost from around 100 euros per night. They each include a free minibar and broadband Internet connection. At street level, the dining room of the restaurant is on the site of the historic Café Varela; it features an outstanding wine list. The hotel also offers the advantages of onsite parking and several conference rooms available for business meetings.
